- COMMUNAL KITCHEN - Our kitchens are Pescetarian. Feel free to enjoy seafood, but no meat please. SEASONING We invite you to use our communal spices and seasonings found in each communal kitchen, as well as leaving some behind for good karma. ICE Tere are ice trays in the freezer. If you take some, please refll the tray. FRIDGE Tere are shelves for each room in the fridge. If you don't want your food to be taken by other guests, please store your food in the shelf assigned to your room. Before you leave, please throw away what you did not use. If there is something you want to leave behind for other guests, let us know and we will take care of it. Another point for your good karma! FILTERED WATER Puerto Rican tap water can be consumed without any concerns, and there is a water flter in the kitchen for your convenience. If you see that the water level is low please refll with fresh water. DISHES Please wash any used dishes and put them to dry on the drying racks. QUIET HOURS Kitchens are closed from 10pm-8am for preparing meals or social gatherings.

 

 

 

- BREAKFAST & BRUNCH - Our famous 3 - course Vegan or Vegetarian brunch is served daily between 8am-12pm. While the menu is different every day, the quality and freshness of our ingredients is consistent. Tere is no need to reserve breakfast or brunch, unless you have dietary restrictions (for e.g. nut allergy) then we ask you to inform us ahead of time. For our guests with a smaller appetite we also offer a one-course breakfast. 3-course brunch $15/person 1-course breakfast $9/person - LUNCH TO-GO - Please order directly with our chef who will be more than happy to prepare a delicious and fresh meal for you to take away. 

 

 

-SNACKS & BEVERAGESFRESH JUICES & KOMBUCHA Te Dreamcatcher is proud to support locally grown, healthy choices for you to enjoy as you spend some time away from home. You may choose between juice blends, homemade hemp milk and Kombucha elixirs made with all natural ingredients. As our menu changes frequently please ask front desk for an updated menu. COFFEE & TEA We offer complimentary coffee every morning from 8am. As we are committed to minimizing the use of animal products, we offer Almond or Soy milk. Tea is available throughout the day. Should you fnd that the thermos carafe is empty please inform our host. Tere are also kettles in the communal kitchen for you to boil your own hot water. Our house blend coffee can be purchased at the reception. MINIBAR Our minibar is located in the living room right off the reception. Tere you will fnd various beverages and snacks as well as bug spray, umbrellas or pain relievers. Te mini bar is operated based on the honor system. Please write down your name, room number and the purchased items on the honor list located next to the fridge. Your purchases will be automatically added to your bill. If you prefer to pay in cash there is a piggy bank at the reception desk waiting to be fed.

 

- HOUSEKEEPING - YOUR ROOM Our housekeeping staff will refresh your room everyday before 5pm. Should you not require this service or have any additional requests (i.e. changing sheets) please inform your host at the front desk. TOWELS In order to preserve water and resources we encourage you to re-use your towels if possible. You make the choice: Towels on the hanger means “I will use again.” Towels on the foor means “Please exchange.” Our housekeeping is happy to change your towels if requested. TOILETRIES We provide soap for each room. Should you require additional toiletries please ask at the front desk. If you stay in a room with shared bathroom we ask that you please place your toiletries into the assigned basket/shelve for your room. At check-out please remember to remove your toiletries. If you wish to leave them behind for another guest please inform your host. DRYING RACK If your room doesn't have a drying rack please use the large drying rack outside the communal kitchen in the front house. Please note not to leave anything on the drying rack overnight as it rains frequently. 

SAND Sand is our biggest challenge. Please help us to keep it out: • Please use the outdoor shower next to the main entrance to rinse off your feet when returning from the beach. • Shake your beach towels at the beach and please refrain from taking sandy towels into the guesthouse and especially into your room. 

 

 

- ACTIVITIES & SERVICES - Below is a summary of our services. For more details, information, and booking please talk to your host. EXCLUSIVE TOURS Daily exclusive tours in small groups (2-6 people). PADDLE-BOARDING Exclusive paddle-boarding excursions for all levels. CONCIERGE SERVICE For all other tours and excursions around the island (i.e. Bio Bay, Caving and Zip Lining etc.) we have information for you at the reception. We are happy to assist you in making the most of your trip. MASSAGES In-room massages such as Tai Body Work, Deep Tissue and Swedish can be booked with us. Should your room not be big enough for an in-room massage then we will accommodate your treatment in a different room. BIKE RENTAL Bikes are available on request. BEACH CHAIR RENTAL Beach chairs are available for $5/day and are located behind the water fountain in the front house. If you take one please add it to the mini bar honor list. In the same area you will fnd: beach games, umbrellas, and sometimes boogie boards, all free of charge. YOGA Several times a week we offer yoga under the stars for all levels. Please ask at the front desk for the schedule. LAUNDRY We are happy to do your laundry for $12/load. Please allow for a turn around time of 8-12 hours. GIFT SHOP Our gift shop is located at the reception. Here we offer hand-made Dreamcatchers, gifts, and accessories by local artists. You may also purchase our incense and house blend coffee. 

 

 

- SHUTTLE SERVICE - Our Shuttle Service is is available any day from 10am-6pm. If you require transport outside these hours please schedule with the front desk ahead of time. DESTINATIONS Airport Drop Off (we currently do not offer airport pick up) Old San Juan Condado Farmers Market/La Placita Museum of Art Fajardo Ferry Terminal to Culebra & Vieques Inquire at front desk for rates and other destinations. - TAXI - Antena 787-268-2121 Astor 787-727-8888 Capetillo 787-758-7000 We are also happy to call a taxi for you. - PARKING - Tere is free street parking around the house. Please make sure not to park your car in front of anyones driveway or on the yellow lines. It is usually easy to fnd parking right at the Dreamcatcher. Should you have issues fnding a spot close by, please talk to your host as we have designated on-site parking available in such case. 

 

-THE GROUNDSFRUIT TREES We have a couple of fruit trees around the house such as a lime, avocado and nispero tree. You are more than welcome to pick your own limes but please don’t take avocados off the tree as they will fall on their own to the ground when they are close to ripeness. HERB GARDEN As part of our commitment to fresh and organic ingredients we cultivate our own herbs and seasonings. We are more than happy to share them with you. Please ask your host for instructions on where and how to cut your herbs. MOSQUITOES Tere are mosquitoes throughout the tropics, including Ocean Park. Te time of the year will determine how noticeable and prevalent they are. By keeping the door shut and the A/C on, not only will your room stay cool, but you will keep the mosquitoes out. When you’re enjoying our outdoor areas we suggest to apply insect repellent which can be purchased in the store located in the living room. BATHROOMS Each room that shares facilities has access to a second full bathroom located at the reception area. All guests are also welcome to use one of our outdoor showers. 

 

-BOARD GAMESWe have various types of board games and card games available in the living room. May the odds be forever in your favor :) - BOOKSAll the books at the house are for everyone to enjoy, please don’t take them with you. Some of these books have been in Sylvia’s family for years and are precious memories. If there is a particular book you really like, talk to Sylvia regarding a possible book exchange. - DOGS - Occasionally Pipa and Malda, our very well-behaved dogs, visit the Dreamcatcher. Tey love people and want to be loved in return. We understand that not everyone is comfortable with dogs, if you need space from them, you can tell them or contact your host. Tey are not allowed in guest rooms and won’t come in. Please refrain from inviting them into your room. Please DO NOT feed them under any circumstance. Tey will try to manipulate you in many different ways, but don’t give into their charm!

Check-in is at 2:00 PM, and check-out is at 12:00 PM. Late check-outs, if possible, may be arranged in advance. 

 

 

- QUIET HOURS - Monday through Sunday 10pm – 8am We pride ourselves in being a quiet and relaxing retreat. It is important that each guest keeps in mind that noise from other rooms can carry through the property. Please be considerate to other guests, as you would wish them to be to you. With each room being close to communal spaces, we ask you to please only use the area located next to your room after 10pm. During quiet hours communal kitchens are closed and cannot be used for cooking or gatherings. 

 

last but not least … - KEYS - At check-in we hand out one key set per room. A second key set is available upon request. Tere is $30 fee for each lost key set. For the main entrance there is no key required but a 4-digit passcode which was given to you at check-in. - WIFI - We offer free wif throughout the house. Tere are two different networks: Front House: Dreamcatcher Back House: Dreamcatcher Encore Password: peacocks (all lower cases) Communal areas with the best signal are: Front House: Living Room Back House: Breakfast Area Te area of Ocean Park occasionally experience service interruptions.
